I’ve worked on several book cover designs for Harlequin Publishing who publish a range of fiction novels largely aimed at the female market. These range from Mills and Boon romances to more mainstream titles including the examples shown here. Each title has a distinct theme, and identifies with a different readership, for example Crave was a supernatural teen romance, in the vein of Twilight, whereas African Skies was a tale of adventure and travel appealing to older readers. Whiskey Island was an old fashioned, whimsical romance set in an idyllic rural setting. Each cover evokes the feeling of the tale within.
